Tuesday
after a Holiday
Roses are red
The grass is green
Memorial Day has passed
I’m ready to scream.
Phones ringing non-stop
Complaints are all I hear
Everyone is growling
And not one ounce of cheer.
Tuesdays should be outlawed
That is plain to see
Any day after a holiday
Makes me want to shout and scream.
