The
Years
Years have come.
Years have gone.
Youth has faded.
To soon we are alone.
The years tell a story.
Of a father and a son.
Destined to be at odds, in a battle of
wills,
That can’t be won.
Youth has turned to old age.
Lives spent in anger and hate.
Will they reconcile, before it is too
late?
Words said in anger,
Have left scars that run deep.
One day soon, one will be gone.
Too late, it will be to weep.
Life is fleeting.
Soon the sun will set.
Will anger keep them apart?
Or in love will they reconnect?
