Tis the Season

Tis the Season

In a manger meek and low
God sent Christ, for all the world to know.

Angels heralded in his birth.
To shepherds keeping watch ore their flocks upon the earth.

Singing Glory to God in the highest.
The Christ child is born.

A star in the heavens lit the way.
That the wise men, could come, worship, and praise.

This story is old
And repeatedly told.

How Christ came,
To save man from sin and shame.

But there is more to this story.
Christ wasn’t born in splendor and glory.

Christ taught us to love, worship, and pray.
Christ did not teach us to hate, revile and degrade.

Christ words today, still ring true.
Love one another, as I have loved you.

This Christmas season, take some time to reflect.
Show others around you, love and respect.

Christmas is not about toys and games.
Christmas is about the gift of love, because Christ came.

A Love story so bold and true.

Christ came to earth, because Christ Loved you.

First Snow of the winter season 08DEC2017

The first snow of the season. Not what we were expecting. It caught WNC with our pants down. LOL. I love to watch the snow as long as it doesn't accumulate. But it did accumulate. We got over a foot of snow. As the photos show. Enjoy The first set of photos are at my home.

 My back deck

The Red photos I thought were cool. Due to the fact that the red lights were coming from the fire truck that was parked behind. We had a guest get stuck in an elevator during the power outage last evening, at the hotel.

The following are at the hotel. So much snow.

Photos I took at Grove Park Inn on the Palm Court Level of Grove Park being built

A display of Grove Park Inn as it was being built. The massive amounts of rock that was brought in by horse and wagon is staggering. But it is beautiful. It look like a fortress. The photos are in no particular order. Enjoy
